Thinking in Colors

I read once about a phenomenon called Synesthesia. It's quite fascinating really. My older sister figured out she has this condition, let me tell you what it consists of.
Every letter is a color, certain objects have personalities, movements have lights, emotions have textures, sounds will make her "Feel a bit orange" and it seems like such a paradise. My written name to her looks like a yellowish hue, and it makes me feel so special when she says my voice makes her feel bright pink.

To my sister: I think about you all the time. I'm thinking about you like the birds sound yellow, like spoons seem drowsy, I'm thinking about you like the sun feels rough like sand paper, like your husband's smile emits a green hue that just makes you feel so fuzzy. I'm thinking of when the next time you can visit and show me your latest art with that amazing mind of yours.
